Ms Fang XIE

Fang Xie received her B. Eng degree in Chemical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China in 1999 and her M. Eng degree in Nanomaterials from National University of Singapore, Singapore in 2002, respectively. After graduation from NUS, she then worked in SurroMed Pte Ltd since 2001, a biotechnology company headed in US. The company was merged to form Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) in 2002. She continued to work in IBN before she moved to Macquarie University as PhD student. Currently her research project is about development of ultrasensitive protein detection technology.
